Glamsham - Martin D'Souza's Rating: 5
Ek Tha Tiger will wipe out whatever deficit Yash Raj Films may have accumulated with their last few releases.
Bollywood Hungama - Taran Adarsh's Rating:
Ek Tha Tiger is a high-octane thriller that works big time. This one has style and substance, both, besides dazzling action, stunning international locales and stylish execution. Most importantly, it has Salman Khan, the trump card of this enterprise.
NDTV - Saibal Chatterjee's Rating: 3.5
Ek Tha Tiger isn't what one would rate as great cinema, but it isn't just harmless fun. The pacifist message dovetailed into its core lends the film a far greater degree of relevance than Bollywood spy thrillers generally strive for.
Times of India - Meena Iyer's Rating: 3.5
ETT is no Dabangg, Ready or Bodyguard. It's more evolved, less chalu (read entertaining). Salman'isms' are rationed. And the hero does so many unbelievable stunts, it makes you ponder on whether - Bollywood's answer to Spider Man, Superman and Batman; is apna Sal'man'.
Koimoi - Roshni Devi's Rating: 3.5
Watch Ek Tha Tiger for Salman Khan at the top of his game and some exciting action scenes.
Rediff - Sukanya Verma's Rating: 3
Ek Tha Tiger is an action-packed adventure with an endearing Salman and a roaring Kat.
Hindustan Times - Anupama Chopra's Rating:
Ek Tha Tiger becomes downright silly. So the modus operandi might be to think of it as a fairy tale with spies and guns. And enjoy the ride.
DNA - Blessy Chettiar's Rating: 3
Salman never fails to entertain and the release of Ek Tha Tiger is aptly timed. This Tiger is sure to bite his way to another box office success. That's not news anymore.
Oneindia - Nabanita's Rating: 3
Ek Tha Tiger leaves a strong message on this Independence day. The film conveys that love goes beyond border. No matter if it's India or Pakistan, love and friendship always take an upper hand.
Mid-Day - Janhavi Samant's Rating: 2.5
While Ek Tha Tiger doesn't stoop to the level of Ready or Bodyguard, this film is definitely not Dabangg or Wanted material either. We all know that Salman's persona itself is part of the narrative of his films. His dry wit and one-liners almost always redeem the film. Well, not this one. There's simply not enough of Salman in Ek Tha Tiger. But yes, Salman does have a sexy butt.
