What she did was set the ramp on fire and caught the eye of Salman and Arbaaz Khan, who were in search of a heroine opposite Chulbul Pandey. Herein there was no looking back for Sonakshi.
Dealing with 'heavy' issues was not so easy…Weighing over 90 kilos, young Sonakshi had to work very hard to get back to the beautiful self the world sees her today. With no training in acting or facing arc lights, she soon found a guide & mentor in Salman Khan. Her acting skills were well brought to the fore, plus Salman’s fitness regime transformed Sonakshi to the beauty that she is today.
Comfortable with modeling and would love to do that in the future… No bikini clause in her contract, but she doesn’t shy away from flaunting her amazing desi body. She has complete trust and respect in her parent’s decisions and when it comes to film choices, she is at their beck and call! She says, “I got many offers, but that department I have completely entrusted it with my parents, if they want me to do a good big banner film, with a good package yet keeping in mind the dignity, I would do it definitely."
