Sujoy Ghosh's 'Kahaani' encourages and inspires all!

Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani, starring Vidya Balan in the lead is getting rave reviews from people across the globe. However, what one might not know is the fact that the Kahaani director rose to such a height from a humble beginning.

Sujoy Ghosh, who was associated with movies such as Jhankaar Beats, Everybody Says I'm Fine! (Special Appearance) and My Brother Nikhil (Special Appearance) had to work very hard to attain the kind of success he has attained today. Everybody is talking about Sujoy's Kahaani, which has raked in Rs 13.83 crore nett at the box office in the first weekend. But very few know that Sujoy Ghosh's father was a taxi driver.

Sujoy Ghosh recently tweeted, “People keep asking me how I know kolkata so well. my father taught me kolkata. he was a taxi driver and knew her like the back of his hand.”

In an interview with TOI, Sujoy Ghosh had said, “My dad used to drive a taxi and at times, I was his companion. In fact, a passenger had once scolded him for roaming around with a kid till my father told him that the 'kid' was his son.”
