Bollywood Hungama - Taran Adarsh's Rating:
Teri Meri Kahaani is uncomplicated and charming. Not the usual romantic fare, this one presents three different stories in three different eras without getting theatrical or melodramatic. Thanks to its innovative storytelling, it comes across as the perfect date movie, holding tremendous appeal for the Facebook Gen. Teri Meri Kahaani is pleasurable and fascinating in equal measures!
Times of India - Gaurav Malani's Rating: 3
'Thrice upon a love story' reads the tagline of the film. This one attempts to thrive upon the same love story thrice but in vain. Teri Meri Kahaani is an ordinary kahaani.
Rediff - Sukanya Verma's Rating: 2.5
Teri Meri Kahaani goes through three love stories in different time zones, and yet, gives them the same finish.
Oneindia - Nabanita's Rating: 2.5
Teri Meri Kahaani is OK. Though it revives the long forgotten romantic era of Bollywood, it somehow lacks the potential of winning one's heart.
India Today - Vinayak Chakravorty's Rating:
Teri Meri Kahaani fails to find a USP simply because the three love stories it narrates aren't altogether new. That's despite the fact that Kohli was trying out an unusual narrative style to bind his three stories with a common thread.
Yahoo - Kunal Guha's Rating: .5
Kunal Kohli's Teri Meri Kahaani is a breezy romantic comedy which makes for an effortless watch. After a futile attempt at serious storytelling (Fanaa) and a vain shot at originality (Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic), Kohli's latest film is a simple tale, which works mainly because it is so mediocre that you don't need to give it much thought.
Glamsham - Martin D'Souza's Rating: 1.5
Kunal Kohli's latest is just gloss. Teri Meri Kahaani is not only plain boring, but it also lacks imagination. With one lead pair of Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, Kunal weaves in three love stories in different settings and different eras.
Koimoi - Priyanka Ketkar's Rating: 1.5
What's Good: Shahid Kapoor's versatility; beautiful, warm music; and the old-film-feel minus the over-the-top melodrama. What's Bad: The extremely slow pace; the mindless love stories; and Priyanka Chopra's static acting. Verdict: An extremely slow movie where too much has been attempted without any purpose... it all feels pointless.
