October is a month of festivities and holidays. This autumn season has in store for us some fun-filled festivals like Dusshera and Navratri. This month is also famous for the semester or mid term break for students. So we know that most of you are looking forward to have a gala time this jolly season. On the other side, we have the tinsel town filmmakers who take this as an opportunity to entertain the audiences with their masala films.

After the biggest records made by Chennai Express which was a family entertainer, many presume that such entertainers will work well with audiences. October will witness two more masala entertainers. On one hand, we have Ranbir Kapoor's Besharam releasing today, October 2 and on the other hand, Akshay will hit the screens in and as Boss on October 11.

Both the movies are set out to leave the crowds in splits. Besharam, which stars Ranbir as a Punjabi boy has already broken the Chennai Express record in the number game by releasing in 3600 screens. It will be the first Bollywood movie to hit so many screens. Wondering why a movie is releasing on a Wednesday? Well, Ranbir decided to break the Friday norm this time.

Boss, which stars the Khiladi star Akshay Kumar has impressed everyone with it's humourous trailer. This is also one of the much awaited movies of the year. We wonder who will fair better at the Box-Office this October. Will it be the dialogue guru Akshay or charming hero Ranbir? Do tell us your views on this topic by commenting below.

Have a look at the slide show for details on Boss versus Besharam.

Ranbir In Besharam

Lead actor Ranbir plays the role of Babli in the movie. This image is a snap shot from the trailer of the movie. Here we can see that Ranbir is facing the other side of the screen and peeing as he sings 'Tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam' in punjabi. He has tried few more of such humours aspects in the movie.

Akshay In Boss

The trailer of Boss has made many of us laugh out loud. This image is a movie still from a scene where Akshay combines action and comedy. He asks a question and if anyone answers it, he slaps them for interrupting him. This is hilarious as Akshay even keeps a serious face while doing this.

Shamless

The literal meaning of Besharam is 'shameless'. This does not mean that Ranbir is trying to be the anti hero in this film. He plays a street smart Punjabi boy.

Grand Entry

Akshay Kumar is all set to give us a grand entry in his movie. He stands atop a tilted Mercedes car, which is seen moving on just two wheels.

Versatlie Ranbir

With each movie, we see Ranbir evolving as an actor. Ranbir's versatility as a performer, is nothing but commendable and he doesn't fail to surprise us with each of his performance.

The BOSS Ring

Akshay Kumar's trademark in the movie is the BOSS ring/s that he sports. His dialogue delivery is going to be the USP of this movie.

High On Action And Comedy

Akshay Kumar is seen in some intense action scenes in the trailer of Boss. This image gives you a glimpse of the actor with his teeth clenched and open shirt during a fight scene. Apart from this, we also have a lot of humour from the Khiladi of Bollywood.

Besharam Girl

Actress Pallavi Sharda plays the lead role in Besharam. She plays the role of Tara Sharma and is paired opposite Ranbir. This is a glimpse of the actress dancing in the song 'Tere Mohalle'.

Bikini Babe In Boss

Boss brings to us a Aditi Rao Hydari in a surprising new avatar. The actress sports a two-piece for this film. She has got the perfectly toned body for Boss in which she is cast opposite Akshay.

What Will Fair Better At The BO?

Besharam is directed by Abhinav Kashyap and Boss is directed by Anthony D'Souza. We wonder which will do a better job at the Box-Office(BO). Do comment below by telling us which movie you are going to watch.
