FIRST LOOK: Charismatic Madhuri Dixit Dazzles In Dedh Ishqiya!

The Bollywood's dancing diva Madhuri Dixit is back with a bang, after the much-awaited first look of her upcoming movie Dedh Ishqiya was released last night, November 4. The first poster features Madhuri, who plays the character of Begum Para in the film.

Madhuri Dixit resembles the age-old regal royal Indian beauty and looks stunning and ageless in the first look. She will also be seen doing some seductive dance numbers in the film. If sources are to be believed, the character of Begum portrayed by Madhuri was written keeping her in mind. "It was a role written exclusively for Madhuri. She plays the Begum. Vidya's character had nothing left in it to take the story forward. So there was no way that I could've included her in Dedh Ishqiya," director Abhishek Chaubey said. Dedh Ishqiya is produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and directed by Abhishek Chaubey and is billed as the sequel of the duo's 2010 crossover hit, Ishqiya. Apart from Madhuri Dixit, Dedh Ishqiya also features Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi in the leads.

Dedh Ishqiya , like Ishqiya , revolves around the theme of love, passion and deceit. The film will be releasing worldwide on January 31, 2014.
