Ram Leela's Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh Leave Media Wanting More

While we are looking forward to an epic love story from Ram Leela, the lead actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are currently busy promoting this film. On Monday, November 5, the lead actors attended a conference organised by Radio Mirchi and addressed the reporters about their latest film which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. They kept their answers light and yet spoke things that made sense, the media just wanted to hear more and more from the this rumored couple.

The two answered a number of questions put forward by the media and sure did their bit in promoting one of the much awaited movies of the year. The media were firing back-to-back questions at this new on-screen couple and yet the two managed to keep calm and even gave some answers that left everyone in splits. Deepika and Ranveer were both very natural and spoke spontaneously.

It's an irony that Ranveer was speaking against the idea of film promotions as he was promoting Ram Leela. He hoped that some day in future, this concept of 'promoting a film' vanishes and instead wished that people focused more on-the-sets and on their actual work.

Deepika Padukone talked about the songs from the film and clarified that 'Ishqyaun Dhishqyaun' is not a promotional number and in fact it is actually inspired by Govinda's work from the past. The actress went to even talk about how difficult it was shoot for a few sequences in the film. She told us that the heavy earrings that she wore tore her ear lobes and the intense dance steps riiped her skin from her feet.

On Chemistry

As usual, the media did not miss out on asking this rumoured couple a question related to their chemistry. A reporter asked Ranveer why he thinks that Deepika has the best on-screen chemistry with him. Ranveer said, "You cannot really break this down, the chemistry is either there or it isn't but in our case it is there."

Ranveer spoke about the promo material of Ram Leela and said that the movie's trailer has got good response and he is happy with that even though he really does not like the idea of promotions for a film.

What Does Deepika Like In Ranveer?

When asked what Deepika liked in Ranveer Singh in Ram Leela, Deepika spoke about Ranveer's look. She said she liked the mustache that he has sported for the movie.

Deepika commented on Ranveer's acting. She said that Ranveer is one of the finest actors in our generation. She revealed that she enjoyed working with him and also wished that he has a great future ahead.

Deepika simply amazed everyone present at the conference. It was not just the way she carried herself but also the way she spoke and gave her natural expressions. She was effortless.

The couple were asked a question about 'Ram Chahe Leela' and if the lyrics of song apply in their real life romance too. The question asked was "if they didn't care about the world when it comes to love." Deepika said that she actually never analysed it so much and on the other hand Ranveer said that he is dumb and cannot answer such intellectual questions.
