Dhoom 3, one of the most hyped and expected films of the year is all set to release on Friday, December 20, and the advance booking for the film has already begun in full force. After Krrish 3, this one will be the only big banner movie, and the entire country is awaiting its release. Dhoom 3, starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra is likely to open to a phenomenal response in spite of the theatre owners hiking the price of the tickets like 'never before'!
Advance booking for Yash Raj Films' Dhoom 3 is rocking at multiplexes and single-screens across India. The first weekend shows was fully booked for 60 per cent, three days before the Dhoom 3 release. The film will be showcased in over 4,000 screens all across India.
From the reports that we are getting, advance booking opened on last Sunday itself and since then, people have been flooding the theatres or booking movie tickets online. By Today, tickets for the first week is likely to be sold out in most theatres across the country. In fact, Dhoom 3 in most probability will break the record for a non-holiday release. All-India, advance booking is 75 per cent, which includes multiplexes and a few single screens as well.

In Punjab, where the advance booking is usually low has had a superb response as far as advance booking is concerned. According to distributors in East Punjab, they already have had 40 percent advance booking for Friday. The chances are that advance booking for the weekend will be full by Thursday.
Movie tickets have all been sold out for the weekend. Ticket rates in West Bengal begin at Rs. 500 in multiplexes.
In Rajasthan, Dhoom 3 has broken all record for advance booking. 70 percent tickets for the weekend shows were already sold out on Tuesday itself. Movie tickets for the first week is likely to be sold out on Thursday. The ticket price for Dhoom 3 in theatres axcross Rajasthan is priced between Rs. 400 and Rs 500 in multiplexes.
There is 80 to 90 percent advance booking here, and this is the first time that it is happening in the city. All five shows in every multiplex has been booked for Friday.
Advance booking for the weekend here is 70 percent. Dhoom 3 will release in 110 screens across Orissa.
Mysore too is not far behind with 70 percent advance booking. The booking began on Sunday, and within three days, nearly 670 percent tickets were sold out.
