The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards have always been one of Bollywood's grandest shows. And this year, there are quite a few reasons that makes the event even more special. One reason being Bollywood's Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit has made her IIFA debut this year.
Madhuri Dixit walked the green carpet on the second day of IIFA 2013. She looked stunning in an ethnic wear while donning her 100 watt smile. Few days back Shahrukh attended the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, in which Madhuri Dixit is one of the judges. It was a Deja Vu moment for Madhuri Dixit Nene and Shahrukh Khan's fans, after the duo actors revived a scene from their hit film Dil Toh Pagal Hai.
Later again, we saw Madhuri and SRK arriving at Macau together to attend the grand event of the year. Reportedly, the press meet for Madhuri's Gulab Gang was cancelled but the actress made it to the green carpet of fashion extravaganza IIFA Rocks and technical awards.
"I have never been to an IIFA before and I'm very excited to be performing on the IIFA stage for the first time. I think that it a great fit especially since we're celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema," Madhuri said in a statement. Madhuri will recreate the magic of cinema with her most memorable numbers including 'Ghagra' from 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', 'Dance of Envy' from 'Dil Toh Pagal Hai' and 'Ek do teen', the songs that made her a queen of hearts in the 1980s.
