The 14th IIFA awards held at Macau on 6 July 2013 was indeed a star studded event. And this year's IIFA will always be remembered for some outstanding performances by veteran actresses Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi.
IIFA was attended by stars like Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Shahid Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Richa Chadda, Jacqueline Fernandez and Abhishek Bachchan among others.
Bollywood divas Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi charmed every one with their mesmerising dance acts at the IIFA awards 2013. Madhuri Dixit, who made a debut this year in IIFA, received a standing aviation from the film fraternity for her brilliant stage performance. She performed on her famous dance numbers like 'Dola Re Dola', 'Mera Piya Ghar Aaya' and '‘Ek Do Teen' and on her recent item number 'Ghaghra' from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
And Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Actor Award for Barfi, while Vidya Balan took the Best Actress Award home for Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani. Anurag Basu's movie Barfi emerged as the clear winner, sweeping maximum of 14 awards by defeating Vicky Donor, Gangs Of Wasseypur and many more at IIFA, 2013.
