What Happened To Kareena-Emraan’s Upcoming Movie Badtameez Dil?

In the past, word was out that Kareena Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi will be seen in an upcoming movie titled Badtameez Dil. It was expected to hit the big screens on August 15, 2014. However, we now hear that this movie which is supposed to be helmed by Akshay Roy is being delayed.

Badtameez Dil is a joint venture by filmmakers Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor as they are the co-producers for this film. The latest rumour in town is that Karan and Ekta have been facing differences and that is what is causing the delay of this upcoming movie.

A source tells us that the movie has been postponed for now but both the producers are keen on completing the project. “The film been stalled for few months due to some internal issues in Ekta’s production house. However, both the producers are keen on doing it and have decided to take a break for a couple of months,” the source explained.

We even stumbled upon on another reason for the delay of Badtameez Dil. We hear that the filming is postponed due to some creative changes in the script. In the recent past, there were even rumours of replacing the main cast with Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt, but the rumours were denied by the producers.

Here is what co-producer Karan Johar had to say about the delay of the film. He said, “The project has not been stalled it just that we have taken a break for few months.
