Parineeti Chopra Turns 25 Today

Parineeti Chopra, the bubbly cousin of Priyanka Chopra, turns 25 today. The hyper-energetic and vivacious actress made her debut with the the hit, Ladies vs Ricky Behl, but it was Ishaqzaade which was her film as the solo lead. Since then she has started climbing the ladder of success and right now is in a very comfortable position in her career.

Parineeti was born in Ambala, Haryana into a Punjabi family. She received her education at the Convent of Jesus and Mary, Ambala cantonment and then moved to London to do a triple honours degree at the Manchester Business School. Parineeti wanted to become an Investment banker but fate had something different in store for her. She was working for the P.R department at the Yash Raj studio when Aditya Chopra asked her to audition for the role of Dimple in Ladies vs Ricky Behl. Her next release was the super successful Ishaqzaade, opposite Arjun Kapoor for she received rave reviews. Chopra next appeared as outspoken Gayatri in the romantic drama comedy Shuddh Desi Romance, which was her second movie with director Maneesh Sharma. She again won the praise and appreciation of both the audience and critics. In fact CNN-IBN noted that Parineeti turned Gayatri into the most real woman one have encountered on screen.
