Ranbir Kapoor Turns 31 Today
Bollywood's next superstar Ranbir Kapoor turns 31, today, September 28. This charming actor, who was born to a star studded Kapoor family made his Bollywood debut in 2007 and has been evolving tremendously since then. From being the 'Towel boy' in Saawariya to playing a mute role in Barfi, Ranbir has impressed us with his versatile roles on screen.
He kick started his career with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya at the age of 24. Although this movie failed terribly at the Box-Office, Ranbir went on to fetch himself the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Since then, Ranbir Kapoor has always stayed in the spotlight. Be it for his relationship status, movie performance, the actor has not faded out from the industry like many others.
Apart from his filmography, Ranbir is often the talk of the town for his personal life. In the past, he was dating Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and the couple were pretty open about it. However, Ranbir is now hush hush about his personal life. The actor is rumoured to be dating Katrina Kaif, but he chooses to keep such matters under the blanket. He said that he does not want his life to be a reality show.
This heartthrob of Bollywood makes all the girls go gaga over him. Apart from his charming looks and well toned body, the actor's acting skills have been well acclaimed by critics and audiences. In the past few years, we can see that the actor has grown in the industry with movies like Rockstar, Wake Up Sid and a few more. The actor is now looking ahead for his upcoming movie Besharam which will hit the theatres on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2.

Saawariya is a 2007 Hindi romance film which was produced and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This film which is based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's short story 'White Nights', starred then newcomer Sonam Kapoor opposite Ranbir. The movie bombed at the Box-Office, but Ranbir moved on.

Bachna Ae Haseeno is a romantic comedy film which realeased in the year 2008. The movie starred Ranbir Kapoor along with actresses Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba, and Deepika Padukone. Ranbir was praised for his performance in this movie.
Wake Up Sid
This Ayan Mukherjee directed movie gave us a whole new perspective of Ranbir Kapoor. It was as though the movie was made to suit his personality. He fit the character of Sid just perfectly right.
Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani
Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is another romantic movie from Ranbir. This is the first movie in which Ranbir was paired opposite his lovely lead actress Katrina Kaif.
Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year
This movie stars Ranbir Kapoor as Harpreet Singh Bedi, who is a Sikh. We saw Ranbir in an all new avatar in this one. This shows his versatility.
Raajneeti
Ranbir who was often categorised under the romantic movie genres often, proved us different with his role in the political thriller film Raajneeti directed by Prakash Jha. Ranbir plays the role of Samar Pratap.
Anjaana Anjaani
Ranbir starred opposite Priyanka Chopra in this movie which was directed by Siddharth Anand. Although, it mostly received mostly negative critic reviews, it was declared above average in the Box Office.

This is a musical romantic movie. Although it received mixed reviews, Ranbir's acting skills were praised a lot.

Barfi! starred Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role along with Ileana D'Cruz and Priyanka Chopra. Ranbir played a mute and deaf character in this film and also won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani starred Ranbir along with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Although the two have moved on, they are comfortable with each other and they still remain friends. He played the role of Bunny in the film.
