Sachin Tendulkar And His Connection With Bollywood
Sachin Tendulkar has announced his retirement from International cricket and the whole country is in a shock. Sachin's decision to bid adieu to cricket after his 200th test match has left everyone around the world heartbroken. Bollywood stars have also expressed their disappointment on Twitter and posted their memories and what Sachin meant to them.
Sachin is considered a demi-god in our country and has acted alongside many Bollywood actors in advertisements. He has done a Pepsi ad with Shahrukh Khan in 1999 where SRK dresses as Sachin just to have some Pepsi. Big B has also done a Pepsi commercial with the little master. In the ad, both of them are having a kite flying competition until it starts to rain.
Another commercial that the legendary batsman has worked is for the Airtel digital TV with King Khan. Both of them are accompanied by their army of goons and are ready for a showdown.
Sachin is a good friend of Aamir Khan, and was the only person invited to Aamir's second marriage. His favourite singer is the Kishore Kumar. Amitabh and Madhuri Dixit are his favourite actors. He was named after the legendary music director Sachin Dev Burman. Sachin made a special appearance in the Bollywood film Stumped in 2003, appearing as himself.
