It was a great moment for superstar Shahrukh Khan and his Kolkata Knight Riders team, along with Juhi Chawla and her hubby Jay Mehta, who had hosted a lavish dinner as a gesture of good luck at their UK Based Neapolitan pizzeria, Pizza Metro Pizza.

As per the reports, the venue was decorated in hues of purple and gold to cheer the team. Also, SRK's daughter Suhana Khan was present at the do. Other celebrities like Yusuf Pathan, Brett Lee, Genelia D'Souza, Sanjay Kapoor, Mugdha Godse and politician Asif Bhamla too were invited for the dinner.

Shahrukh had earlier said that he would not let down KKR fans. "I feel extremely responsible that I don't let the fans down. So we will try harder." Khan was seen egging the Knights on to a much-needed win along with his daughter Suhana and Pathan's wife Afreen. As fans consider SRK, the lucky mascot for the team, the actor said, "This is the lucky combination - my daughter, me and now we have added Afreen (Yusuf's wife) to the lucky combination. So we are creating a whole army of women. If nothing else works you have to try different paintraas (techniques)."
