War On For Shahrukh Khan And Salman Khan?

Bollywood superstars Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan are known to be arch rivals even after they put on a patch-up show recently. It looks like this cold war between the two Khans may get bigger next year with their movies clashing on Eid and Diwali.

Releasing movies on a Eid was always a Salman Khan 'thing'. 2013 saw a change in this pattern with SRK releasing Chennai Express which broke all box office records. Soon after this, Sallu made sure he blocked next year's Eid to release his upcoming movie Kick.

However, the latest news is that Shahrukh does not want to let go of his newly found lucky day. We hear that the 47-year-old actor too is getting set to release a movie on the same day.

The fight is not just for Eid. Most of the filmmakers want to release ther movies on holidays. So they have Diwali as another target. Shahrukh is working with Farah Khan for the movie titled Happy New Year and on the other hand we have Salman tying up with Prabhu Deva for a movie yet to be titled. Both the movies are looking forward to a holiday-season release and Diwali is an option. We wonder if this will be another clash between the two khans.

Another possibility that may occur is a clash with Aamir Khan. Aamir, the perfectionist is set to release Peekay on Christmas 2014 and he would not be too happy if Sallu or SRK released any of their movies on the same day.

Salman Khan has been releasing his movies on Ramzan for the past few years. Bodygaurd is a remake of a Malayalam movie with the same name and this was released on Eid 2011.

Om Shanti Om

Om Shanti Om starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone was a Diwali-release. SRK is known for releasing quite a few movies on this festival of lights.

Taare Zameen Par

Aamir Khan has celebrating Christmas every year by releasing a movie on the special day. He released Taare Zameen Par in 2007. This movie deals with the issue of dyslexia.

Don

This is an action-crime movie starring SRK. This movie was a Diwali release and was declared a hit.

Dabangg

This 2010 movie released on Eid. It was the talk of the town and Sallu's style in Dabangg has inspired many fans.

3 Idiots

This was one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood. 3 Idiots which is based on a novel titled Five Point Someone is one of the highest grossing movies. This released on Christmas of 2009.

Ra. One

This movie which released on Diwali last year(2011) is a science fiction drama. This SRK-starrer did not do that well in the Box-office.

Khans And Festival Releases

Ghajini is a remake of a Tamil movie with the same name and this movie which released Christmas 2008 was loved by audiences.

Chennai Express

SRK broke away from his regular pattern and released Chennai Express this year. This day has proven very lucky for him and the movie has created history in the Box-Office.
