Sonu Nigam Threatened By Dawood Ibrahim's Aide
Sonu Nigam, was recently threatened by Chota Rajan to change the event management company that will manage his 2014 world tour. The legendary singer told the police that for the past few days he has been receiving threatening messages and phone calls from Chota Shakeel, who is a close associate of Dawood Ibrahim.
According to sources, he was also warned that if he does not comply with their wishes they would expose his relationship with a Mumbai based woman who comes from a renowned family. The playback singer who has been in the film industry for the past 20 odd years, would probably be provided police protection in the upcoming days. The buzz is that it was in fact Dawood Ibrahim who was not happy with the event management company and gave order to Chota Shakeel to threaten the singer. "The gangster recommended a person's name and wanted Nigam to organize the world tour concerts through him. We asked Nigam to provide all the details and register an FIR. He is busy and we expect him to visit us soon," said a senior crime branch officer.
Well this not the first time that a bollywood star has been threatened by the underworld. The recent incident which comes to mind is that of Boney Kapoor, who received calls from a member of Ravi Pujari gang. He said that the producer was responsible for the arrest of four of his men and that they will shoot him down.

The filmmaker had been targeted when an unknown gunman entered his office at Juhu. The gunman fired two rounds in the office after he got aware of Bhatt"s absence.
Rakesh Roshan
He was shot at while leaving from his office at Santa Cruz on January 21, 2000. Roshan had a narrow escape as he was shot in the left arm and thus underwent a surgery.
Preity Zinta
She was the second one in a long list of celebrities who did not deny the claims of getting calls from underworld during the Bharat Shah case. It was during Chori Chori Chupke Chupke in 2000 during the shoot that she got an extortion call referring to Bhai ka Aadmi for an amount of 50 lakhs.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
She although did not get the direct calls from underworld. However, the conversation between her and Salman Khan made it clear that Salman would threaten her in the name of underworld don. Central forensic report with the help of the samples of their respective voices through audiocassettes proved Salman having connections with underworld.
