of
Ranbir
Kapoor's
forthcoming
movie
Besharam
was
launched
on
Tuesday,
July
30.
This
first
trailer
of
the
film
begins
with
Ranbir
Kapoor
singing
'Tujhe
dekha
to
yeh
jaana
sanam'
in
Punjabi.
However,
this
is
not
a
romantic
scene,
instead
the
opening
scene
shows
Ranbir
urinating
in
the
green
mustard
fields.
The
trailer
announces
the
introduction
of
Ranbir's
character
as
Besharam
Babli.
Ranbir
Kapoor
is
also
seen
showing
off
some
80s
dance
moves
in
his
golden
metallic
outfit.
Abhinav
Kashyap
has
made
sure
to
add
humour
in
the
action
sequences
as
well.
Besharam
trailer
brings
forward
some
funny
chasing
scenes.
The
lead
actor
of
the
film
Ranbir
Kapoor
was
not
present
at
the
launch
of
the
trailer.
The
director
Abhinav
Kashyap
had
a
quick
explanation
for
Ranbir's
absence.
"This
was
not
a
pre-planned
launch.
Ranbir
is
in
Sri
Lanka
and
that
is
why
he
is
not
here," Kashyap
said
at
the
launch.
With
all
the
clutter
in
B-town,
each
filmmaker
tries
to
create
space
for
their
movie.
Besharam
is
set
to
release
on
Gandhi
Jayanti,
October
2.
So
they
have
two
months
time
for
their
promotion
period.
"We
are
roughly
two
months
before
the
release
of
the
film.
This
was
a
part
of
the
promotion
cycle.
We
begin
our
promotion
campaign
from
tomorrow," the
director
said.
Talking
about
the
title
of
the
movie,
Kashyap
explained
that
the
idea
is
to
dispel
negativity
attached
to
the
word.
The
director
also
mentions
that
he
is
not
trying
to
idealise
any
social
message
through
the
movie.
"He
is
not
anti
hero
here.
He
is
the
hero
amongst
the
masses
and
a
hero
with
whom
everyone
will
relate
to.
I
am
not
trying
to
propagate
any
social
message
through
my
film.
He
is
here
to
entertain
everyone,
even
a
poor
man,
who
is
not
educated,"
he
said.
