As planned earlier to dress up Aamir, MLA Krishna Hegde did what he said to PK poster effigy on Saturday. Vile Parle legislator did this in front of huge crowd who cheered and clapped for him.
MLA termed this poster of PK as distasteful and dressed the effigy with a grey Tee shirt and a shorts.
"Aamir Khan is a good actor and hosts Satyameva Jayate. These posters are distasteful and against Indian culture. They create a wrong impression in the minds of families and youngsters who consider him an icon," Hegde said at the event.
Krishna Hegde urged the actor to withdraw the objectionable poster and said he is not resorting to any moral policing.
However, Aamir Khan had earlier defended about the poster and said, "When you (audience) will watch the film then only you will be able to understand the idea behind (the poster). But I would just like to say that the kind of filmmaker, the kind of writer Rajkumar is, he always tries to present the things, his thinking, in a unique way and that's why I am his huge fan."
