Aishwarya Rai And Other Bollywood Celebrities Who Were Robbed In Broad Daylight
Bollywood celebrities may live a high life but they too are not spared from the everyday crimes this country has fallen victim to. Many Bollywood celebs have been robbed from their house, airports etc and one of the most shocking household to have got robbed is the Bachchan household.
With 24x7 security and about a number of people always present in the house, you would not expect any thief to be able to enter the house but this one brilliant robber managed to do just that. A thief managed to hide from all the security, entered the house and managed to steal Rs 8,000. He was nabbed when he was trying to escape and the thief was identified as Deepak Kewat from Madhya Pradesh, was produced in court and remanded in police custody for 14 days thereafter.
The Bachchan family are not the only ones who have fallen victim to such crimes, there are many other Bollywood celebrities who have been robbed in broad daylight. Sushmita Sen probably faced the worst situation for she was robbed abroad and the actress was left with nothing but a pair of clothes she was wearing. With a lot of difficulty she managed to call someone in India and got a lawyer arranged who helped her in getting back to the country.

A thief broke into Amitabh Bachchan's house Jalsa and managed to steal Rs 8,000. Big B's security guards nabbed him while he was trying to escape.
Ajay And Kajol
Bollywood actress Kajol had filed a police complaint of her 17 missing gold bangles at the Juhu Police Station. Two arrests were made - Gayatri Devendra, 22 years and Santosh Pandey, 33 years. Both of them were hired by Ajay Devgn and Kajol a few days before the Karva Chauth celebrations for some cleaning work in their bungalow.
Shilpa Shetty And Raj Kundra
Their residence was robbed. An expensive music system and an iPod were missing from the house.
Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan was robbed by his servants of 11 split air-conditioners from his production office. Immediately his manager lodged an FIR with the Khar police station, and the police began their investigations.
Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen was robbed in broad daylight at the Athens airport, when on an exotic Greek holiday. She was waiting outside an eatery, her hand on her trolley, when she turned to speak to the man sitting behind her. It was at this point, she was robbed. She lost her mobile phone, iPad, credit cards, passport, and her 10-year visa to the US and the UK.
Hema Malini
In 2010, the actress' Dindoshi bungalow was robbed. The police claimed to have solved the Rs 84 lakh robbery case with the detention of one of the two security guards who were deployed at the house round the clock.
Rakul Preet Singh
She debuted as the lead actress in Yaariyan. She was on vacation with her friends in Bangkok, where she was mugged by two rogue bikers at a traffic signal. The actor lost Rs 60,000 in cash and an expensive bag from a high-end label, all of her debit and credit cards and two mobile phones.
Shriya Saran
Shriya Saran was in Europe shooting for a South Indian film. On her day off, she went to Barcelona for shopping, on their way back to the hotel, they took the train and mid-way, Shriya and her colleagues realized that they had been robbed on the train itself.
Dino Morea
The actor was robbed when he was asleep and the robber stole some valuables from his bedroom, the actor who turned producer with Jism 2 tweeted, "Excuse my language, but the thief had the b****s to come into my bedroom, while I was asleep."
Satish Kaushik
According to news reports, cash amounting to Rs 1.2 crore was stolen from Satish Kaushik's residence in Versova in Mumbai. He had received the cash for his creative work. He had briefly left the money in his living room when it was stolen. Sajan Kumar, Satish's house help was the prime suspect in this case who fled the city immediately after the incident.
