Ajay Devgn: “ Playing Police Officer For 15 Years Now”

Ajay Devgn just tweeted, "Been playing a police officer for over 15 years now :) #SinghamReturns". We truly can't believe that it's been 15 years, Ajay has been playing the role of police officer. So why not celebrate his 15 years experience by remembering those memorable movies where Ajay Devgn played the role of a police officer.

Ajay Devgn's last movie as an police officer was Singham, remake of south movie but the actor played the role to perfection. He is one among those very few actors who suit such a role and who give such a believable performance. Like any other Rohit Shetty movie, this too made it to the 100 crore club and he is back with the second installment of the film titled as Singham Returns. Once again starring Ajay Devgn in the lead, the film is said to have many high octane action sequences.

Singham Returns also stars Kareena Kapoor, Amole Gupte, Anupam Kher in prominent roles and the film is slated to release on August 15. If sources are to be believed then Slyvester Stallone's movie Expendables is also releasing on the same day, so it would be interesting to watch the clash of such big movies releasing on the same day.The Expendables 3 also stars Arnold Schwarznegger, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Jason Statham just to name a few, while Rohit Shetty directed Singham Returns stars Kareena Kapoor with Ajay Devgn.

Don't know how the movie is going to fare overseas but if history is going to repeat it self then the combination of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn has to be a blockbuster hit. Only time will tell, till then let's check out the different police avatars of Ajay Devgn.
