Casanova Akshay Kumar's Innumerable Controversies
Akshay Kumar is celebrating his birthday today, born as Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia on 9 September 1967, the actor is turning 47 years old. He may have had a tough start in life but today he is enjoying a huge star status in Bollywood.
Akshay Kumar was born in Amritsar, Punjab. While he was still in Indian he obtained a black belt in Taekwondo and later went to study martial arts in Bangkok, Thailand, where he learned Muay Thai and worked as a chef and waiter.
When he returned to Mumbai, he started teaching martial arts and one of his students recommended he get into modelling. He started making more money than he did in the teaching job and one fine morning when he missed his flight for an ad-shoot in Bangalore, Akki felt disappointed with himself and visited a film studio along with his portfolio. Luck stroked Akki and he was signed for a lead role by producer Pramod Chakravarthy for the movie Deedar.
When he was making career in films, the actor was alleged to be doing a lot more behind the scenes. He dated a lot of girls from Pooja Batra. Raveena, Rekha to Shilpa Shetty and finally chose to settle down with Twinkle Khanna. Even after marriage the actor was linked to Priyanka Chopra, after which he was banned to work with her by his wife.
In an interview, Raveena said that Akshay Kumar has proposed to every girl and at the speed he was going he would soon have to address the parents of more than half the girls in Mumbai as ‘mum and dad'. She later added that she didn't blame any other woman for their bad break-up since it was her man who was not loyal.
