Bollywood Actresses Who Said 'No-No' To Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar are three projects lined up but none of them have Bollywood actresses from the big league. All his movies have newcomers as his leading lady and all this is happening as big A-lister actress such as Kareena, Katrina and Priyanka appear to be too busy with movies.

Akshay is definitely a big star in Bollywood whose films are raking in the moolah one movie after another. But off late the actor seems to be in a fix, you would know if you have observed that he is doing way too many movies with Sonakshi Sinha. Reason you ask? All the other big stars like Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra seems to busy and have no dates to accommodate Akshay's films.

All these beauties have previously worked with him but after the actor had once mentored these lasses, they seem to have abandoned him. While Priyanka Chopra not working is justifiable, considering all the alleged rumours that had befallen them, it may have been the reason for them not working together. Why the actresses seem to be busy, the reason is yet to be found. According to rumours none of the top heroines were available for Akki's next films It's Entertainment, Shaukeen and Singh Is Bling. Probably that's why he had to settle for lesser names like Tamannaah Bhatia, Lisa Haydon and Kirti Sanon. "Akshay's pairing with Sonakshi has reached a point of saturation. The fact that no other actress besides her has been paired with him in the last two years explains Akshay's dilemma in finding leading ladies for his films," says a trade analyst.

According to insiders, A-lister actresses are refraining from working with him because they fear their role will get chopped at the editing table. "In Akshay's films such as Boss, Once Upon A time In Mumbaai Dobaara, Rowdy Rathore to name a few, the actresses were reduced to mere props," says our source. All of these movies has Sonakshi in the lead. For his next, Singh Is Bling, Akshay tried his best to rope in Kareena, Katrina and Priyanka but had to settle down for newcomer Kirti Sanon. While his counterpart Salman too is settling for Sonam Kapoor, Jaqueline Fernandes and Nargis Fakhri, they are still more sought after names than Akshay's fleet of newcomers.
