Recently, Yo Yo Honey Singh became a victim of death hoax on the internet. Although it was a video scene shoot from his new song, the fake news spread like fire and everyone in the fraternity got shocked.

Death hoax is nothing but a confused report of someone's death. It is actually a fake news which in most cases is rumour or a publicity stunt. Many Bollywood celebrities have become victims of death hoax on the internet. From Lata Mangeshkar to Katrina Kaif, fake celebrity death news have hit the web and trended as well! These victims had to take it to their social networking sites so as to assure that they are very much alive and doing great.

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana was the victim of celebrity death hoax sometime back. The actor had to reassure his fans about his good health through social networking sites. Such fake news does become a big thing of the time being. These fake death hoaxes of celebrities can be really shameful.

Even the veteran superstar, Dilip Kumar once became a victim of celebrity fake deaths on the web. His gorgeous wife Saira Banu had to come to his rescue and she informed that her husband is healthy and doing fine.

He is the recent celebrity to have become a victim of death hoax on the web. His pics from a hospital bed (which was actually from a music video shooting) went viral and the rapper was apparently dead! Honey Singh took to twitter to kill the rumours of his fake death.

Ayushmann Khurrana

The young actor reportedly died in a snowboard accident. However, after seeing the news, Ayushmann confirmed his living status on Twitter.

Amitabh Bachchan

The death hoax of Big B dying in a car accident in US spread the internet. Even the memorial details went viral on the web. However, Big B did not comment on this fake news and made his presence.

Dilip Kumar

The veteran actor has been keeping unwell for quite sometime now. However, when he suffered a heart attack and was hospitalised, news on his death spread. Even filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap expressed his grief on Twitter. However, Anurag came to know on the death hoax and immediately apologised on Twitter.

Lata Mangeshkar

The nightingale also became a victim of fake celebrity death. However, she informed on Twitter that she is doing good.

Katrina Kaif

Katrina too faced the same thing when a humourous Facebook page quoted, "At about 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday (November 26, 2013), our beloved actress Katrina Kaif passed away. Katrina Kaif was born on July 16, 1984 in Hong Kong. She will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page". Everyone took it seriously and started expressing their grief. However, Katrina's representatives assured that the actress is doing fine.

Rajinikanth

Superstar Rajni has also been killed by the pranksters. Even after denying the fake reports, the rumours spread widely.

Asha Parekh

The gorgeous yesteryear beauty also became a victim of death hoax on the web.
