Pics: Bollywood Celebs Attend Special Screening Of Rang Rasiya

Rang Rasiya which will release worldwide tomorrow, conducted a special screening of the movie just for the Bollywood industry, where a number of celebs were seen attending the do.

The star-cast of the movie too was seen at the do, Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen who play the lead roles in the movie were much elated with the movie's release, seeing how it was stuck with censor board for such a long time. One scene in the movie, which is shot from a wide angle shows a bare breast of a skimpily clad Sen. Central Board of Film Certification objected to it and ordered for a review based on consensus.

Finally after a long wait, the film is releasing and already the review of the film is coming out, saying it is an classic art movie. It is based on the controversial life of the famous 19th century painter Raja Ravi Varma, a man of great talent who was disgraced by society for his work.

A story complete with passion, ambition, persistence, lust and tragedy, Rang Rasiya is set to be an absolute entertainer. Presented by Jayantilal Gada (Pen), Rang Rasiya is directed by Ketan Mehta, produced by Deepa Sahi and Aanand Mahendroo.

After the screening of the film, royal family of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III of Baroda, were the most impressed audience. Rajmata Shubhanginiraje who played host to the grand premiere for the film in Baroda, said, "I remember six years back when Ketan had come to meet my husband about the film. Today, while seeing the film, I thought of my husband a lot. He was an artist and I wondered what his take would have been and I am sure he would have had his own sensitive outlook on it. It's a very nice film."
