It is said that there are no friends in Bollywood and apparently this holds best for our actresses in the B-Town who have been indulging in that so called 'cat fight' from time to time.
It doesn't matter whether we talk about the 80's or we take 2014 in our record, popular Bollywood divas have always been entertaining their fans with popular rivalry gossips of all time. Here's a list of five most talked about cat fights in the glamorous world of Bollywood.
Katrina Kaif-Deepika Padukone
The latest in the list of Bollywood cat fights is that of Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone. Their supposed rivalry sparked off with Katrina's bikini pictures with Ranbir Kapoor in Spain were leaked in media and Deepika's following remarks on the incident. While, Katrina was very very upset with her personal life been encroached by media, Deepika saying celebrities need to be more careful as their lives are bound to be under scrutiny, further enraged Katty. The Dhoom 3 girl then lashed out at Deepika with the common proverb "People who live in glass houses should not throw stones," referring to the latter's kissing pictures with Ranveer Singh in Dubai gone viral. However, the rivalry is reportedly in peak now with Deepika's former boy-friend Ranbir Kapoor dating Katrina currently and there seems no probability of the two hot divas offering 'dosti ka haath' at least in the near future.
Parineeti Chopra-Meera Chopra
Although Parineeti Chopra and Meera Chopra happen to be cousins, even blood connections prove faded in Bollywood. This sibling rivalry caught eyeballs when Parineeti remarked that Meera is not her cousin but a "cousin's cousin's cousin" and Meera is not a part of her family. Parineeti further went on to say that Meera and she are very distant as they hardly talk or meet. This hurt Meera and in reply she claimed Parineeti's comments as 'unwarranted and stupid'. Later, Meera was also quoted saying, she shares good bonding with cousin Priyanka Chopra but not with Parineeti.
Kareena Kapoor-Bipasha Basu
Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu have been the most open rivals as the two hearth-throbs never hesitate to speak the unspeakable about each other. In a chat show Kareena pinged Bipasha's then boy-friend John Abraham as 'expressionless' and soon Bipasha came up in retaliation saying, Kareena is an actress 'with too many expressions'.
Aishwarya Rai-Sushmita Sen
Supposed rivalry between two former beauty queens Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen is as old as 20 years as it started during the beauty contest in 1994. It all began when confident Sushmita claimed the Miss India crown and won the Miss Universe title, defeating blue-eyed Aishwarya who was declared Miss World. However, the supposed cat fight between the two beautiful divas seems to settle down now as Ash and Sush will reportedly be seen first time together in an upcoming movie soon.
Two most popular actresses of the 80s, Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi have been arch rivals since long. Sridevi who was reigning the industry then suffered a sudden jerk with Madhuri gaining popularity at the same time. Moreover, Sridevi had her one of the biggest hits with superstar Anil Kapoor in the movie Mr India and soon Madhuri also claimed her first big break with the same star in Tezaab which further fueled the rivalry.
