Ek Villain's lead Shraddha Kapoor: I have stopped eating food
Ek Villain heroine, Shraddha Kapoor was in Bangalore for a whole day promoting her movie. The actress was unwell, but it still didn't deter her from promoting her movie. A spokesperson revealed, "Shraddha has been a little under the weather. But she is very excited about the release and she is going all out to promote it."
The actress spoke to us about her trip to Bangalore being a memorable one, for she once visited the city quite a lot of times as she was supposed to join a boarding school here. But things didn't work out and she ended up studying elsewhere. The actress has apparently stopped eating food, but why she is doing that shall be revealed later but before that let me tell you what she revealed about her role in the movie.
She plays the role of Aisha, who is a loving person, spunky, carefree and selfless while Sidharth Malhotra plays Guru who is menacing, aggressive and withdrawn. In Aisha, Guru finds a sense of comfort. Gradually, he starts falling in love with her!
Aisha however, is reluctant to let her emotions take over, but a persistent Guru manages to persuade her. Riteish Deshmukh plays an antagonist's role, but how his story get's intertwined with these people is what makes the whole plot. This is director Mohit Suri's first venture outside the Bhatt camp. How has Bangalore been treating you?
I have been to the city quite a few times when I was young, as I had to join a boarding school here. But of course things didn't work out and I had to go back. I really liked the city and would wish to come here again.
Which is favourtie gadget?
It has to be my phone, without it I think it would get pretty difficult.
We have seen you doing only soft roles, when will we see you in a different role?
Yeah, before this I was seen in roles where I barely spoke a word or too... Ha Ha (giggles). Well I think my role in Ek Villain is very different. I have loads of dialogues in the movie, I keeping talking non-stop. If Sidharth has 2 pages of dialogue, I have like 100 pages. So, yeah I think this movie's role is quite different.
Your father Shakti Kapoor is like 'King Of Comedy', when do you plan to do a comedy movie?
Yeah, my dad really has a good comic timing. Again I would have to say Ek Villain's role, the character being very light and fun and I being like the breath of fresh air, you are going to be finding only me making you laugh and giving the happy element.
Sidharth- Actually since Riteish and me have very dark roles and she is like the ray of sunshine, her character in this movie is what make you laugh.
You are doing ABCD 2 next, how are you preparing for that role?
Well, the only preparation I am doing now is that, I have stopped eating food. Since I need to look like a professional dancer, I have become more conscious of what I eat and have started to build on my look for the film.
Who is the Villain in your life now?
Like I told you, I am on a very strict diet for my role in ABCD 2 and since I am a big foodie, this diet has become my Villain now.
ABCD 2 is a movie about dance, how good are you at dancing?
Ha Ha, I have to see actually. I am training for one month, as I have to look and be like a dancer by the time we start shooting for the movie. In fact, I am juggling promotions and my dance training simultaneously.
Many top heroines like Deepika and Sonakshi are doing movies in South, Do you plan to as well?
Yeah, I guess. Why not?
What about a movie in Sandalwood, Kannada language?
Well I know one sentence in Kannada, Nin Hesaru Enu?(What is your Name?). I am not well-versed with the language but if a good script comes along, I will definitely do. It's like never say never. You know?

Yeah, this 27th June please celebrate Villaintines Day with me. It's not Valentines Day but Villaintines Day, so let's all celebrate the 'villainess'(giggles) on 27th by watching the movie. I have coined this Day so don't forget to watch the movie.
