The Lunchbox just went past the collections of My Name Is Khan at the American box office.
Chennai Express, 3 Idiots, Monsoon Wedding and Dhoom 3 in the top Indian earners list at US box office. Last year, Chennai Express crossed $5.31 million at the USA box office which made it count in the highest grosser Indian movie of 2013 at US box office.

The multi-starrer film became the highest grossing Indian language film in North America, beating Deepa Mehta's Water by about 10 percent.
Dhoom 3
The Indian action thriller film set a new North American box office record for a Bollywood film. It broke the first weekend collection of Chennai Express with a grand opening of $3.3 million.
The Lunchbox
The Lunchbox marks the directorial debut of Ritesh Batra. The movie has collected more than $4 million, and still counting.
My Name Is Khan
The SRK starrer film smashed US box office record as it hit the $2 million mark faster than the earlier record holder, Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots.
Om Shanti Om
Another SRK lead movie in 2007 broke many records in North America. It is estimated to collect more than $3.6 million in US. It was one of the most revenue generating mvoeis overseas as well.
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
If sources are to be believed, the Ranbir and Deepika starring film reached top 10 box office earners of the weekend list at the 8th position with $1.6 million. The list also had Fast and Furious 6, Hangover Part 3, The Great Gatsby and The Iron Man 3 to name a few.
