Khoobsurat's trailer starring Sonam Kapoor released today and the film looks quite promising. The movie also stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan who will be romancing actress in the movie. The trailer was funny and entertaining and we shall be listing out 10 things that we loved about the trailer.
Khoobsurat is a remake of 1980's movie of the same name which starred Rekha in the lead. It stars Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Afzal Khan, Kirron Kher, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ratna Pathak and Aamir Raza Hussain in lead roles.
In the original the lead character's name was Anju but in this the name is Mili, "Yes, that's right. My director Shashank Ghosh, my producer Rhea, who also happens to be my sister, and I, we all decided not to name my character Anju. That was the name Rekha was given by Hrishida in Khubsoorat. We decided to name my character Mili," said Sonam.
"We are all huge fans of Hrishikesh Mukherjee. My dad worked in his last film. Unfortunately, I couldn't work with him. Shashank waited four years to do his own take on Khubsoorat with me. And since Mili is another favourite film of mine by Hrishida, I decided to incorporate that as well into our Khoobsurat," she added.
Speaking on how different the movie will be to the original Sonam was quoted as saying, "The spirit is the same. The characters are also the same. But the milieu and circumstances have been changed. I thoroughly enjoyed playing a character that Rekhaji has played so wonderfully in the past."
On reprising Rekha's role, she added, "Obliterating Rekhaji is too harsh a thought. Her spirit runs through Khoobsurat. But I haven't copied her in any way. Not in my clothes, performance or attitude. I am Mili, not Anju." And as per Sonam's description her character does seem quite different and that's one of the things we loved in the movie.

The fun mom is back, Kirron Kher is best mom on-screen, her comic timing is too good and she manages to impress us in the trailer it self. We are eager to watch another Maa Da Ladla scenario in the movie.
A highly acclaimed veteran actress who is back on the big screen and how? The actress has an amazing comic timing as well, which we have seen in a number of comic serials and movies. The trailer pretty much starts with her scenes and she has acted too well.
They may be a new couple on the block but they definitely make for one hot couple as well. If the chemistry is this hot in the trailer, can't wait to watch more in the movie.

Sonam says, "Tumhe Dekh ke Gande Gande Khayal Aarahe Hain." This scene definitely stands out and manages to tickle our funny bone.
The fashion quotient in the movie is quite high, as both Sonam and Rhea are quite the fashionsistas whose previous movie Aisha was also quite fashionable.
The selfie craze going on the real world has been incorporated really well. The 'Maa-Beti' jodi seems good too and their to and fro conversations is really funny and cute.
