Kill Dil Movie: 10 Reasons It'll Be An Average Film At Box Office

Kill Dil is releasing this children's day, November 14th with much eagerness from both fans and media. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Ali Zafar and Govinda, an original story directed by Shaad Ali.

The film's first trailer didn't impress me much. It did not give me the feeling of any excitement or interest to watch the film. From my experience if the trailer of the movie is bad, even the movie will be bad. So going by that logic, I get a feeling that Kill Dil will not be that big of a hit.

The film's new dialogue trailer did change my mind for few minutes, as it is far more interesting, funny and crispy compared to the official trailer but somehow my feeling doesn't go away. Govinda being seen in a negative role is hyped up and the fact that he'll be making a comeback of sorts is being projected as the USP of the movie.

But as far as I know it has been a really long time that this actor was in demand so how many people would actually rush to the theatres to watch the guy make a comeback into Bollywood? Well that'll remain unknown or negligible. I don't mean to be harsh but truth is that Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra are lot more in demand than Govinda.

This lead pair of the movie were brilliant in Ladies Vs Rickie Bhel but in this movie, the chemistry doesn't appeal too much, in fact the pairing looks really bad in the video of the movie songs which seem so unrelated to the audio of the same song.

None of the actors are that big of a star to pull off a whole film into the 100 crore league. The film doesn't appeal on the whole either so unless the film releases it is hard to predict it's fate.

Check out 10 reasons why I think Kill Dil will be an average film at Box Office...

Ranveer Singh

For one, he doesn't good look at all. Now that I have got it out of the way, Ranveer Singh's last duo lead movie, Gunday with Arjun Kapoor was a flop and somehow this seems to follow suit.

Ali Zafar

The singer is brilliant at acting too but from the looks of the trailer he could have carried the goon role a lot more better. He is letting down the movie a little.

Parineeti Chopra

The actress is one of the most talented but as much as she is trying to change her image with these short clothes, the actress just doesn't suit the role. The acting may be there but the look is missing.

He seems to have portrayed the role of villain in a very authentic way. He may even be the only good thing in the movie, but it is still a long shot for Govinda to make a film hit at this point in his career.

Lackluster chemistry, as much as they are good looking, in the songs they look that miss-matched.

The Poster

The makers of the film could have put a little more effort. The poster literally takes the life out of the film.

As much as this is a original plot, movies with two heroes whose are as close as brothers and one falling in love is repeated a tad too much in Bollywood movies.

Personally the songs didn't appeal to me. If the audio was good the video of the song would be shot in such an unrelated manner that I would lose interest.

Predictable End

Somehow we can predict the ending of the movie, we may be wrong but it does seem like a story of this gangster who has brought up two killers, they end up betraying because of a girl or may want to leave owing to the girl and in turn get stuck in a gansta war with their own head. Who wins? See the movie types.

Box Office Result

Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra are the only two peole who are in limelight now and these two don't seem powerful enough to pull of a 100 crore movie. So big chance the movie will end up with an average performance at the Box Office.
