It's Kirron Kher's birthday today, she is an Indian theater, film and television actress, a TV talk show host and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. In fact in May 2014, she was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of Indian Parliament from Chandigarh.
In Mumbai, Kirron tried throughout the 1980s to get a foothold in the film industry, but without success. While visiting producer after producer seeking a role in films, Kirron renewed her acquaintance with Anupam Kher, who was also a similarly struggling actor, and whom she had known slightly at university in Chandigarh. Anupam was also already married to someone else. Moving in the same theater circles, they worked together in a play called Chandpuri Ki Champabai.
Finally in 1985, after Anupam had secured a break in films with Saaransh, he divorced his wife, Kirron divorced her husband, and they were married to each other the same year. They now even run a production house together. Well, that's the story of how Kirron met the love of her life. Now coming to her acting skills, her roles in the movie are really one of the most memorable roles in the present decade. She has played the most coolest mom ever and we still look forward to performance on-screen.
Wish we had mother's like that huh? Kirron apart from being a strong believer of numerology sport a rather unique traditional style. The actress drapes herself in the most beautiful sarees and pairs it with antique jewelry. Trust me, for her age, she must be the most stylish actress around.
