Narendra Modi is the new wave in the country. From the young to the old, everyone is screaming out the name of the BJP prime ministerial candidate. Narendra Modi is also getting support from the movie industry as well. The saying star power matters as much as manifestos hold true for this BJP prime ministerial candidate. Narendra Modi with celebrities has been a constant feature in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.

This election, a lot of celebrities have spoken up and stood for various prime ministerial candidates from different parties. However, we are seeing a lot of Bollywood boost for the Modi Sarkar. Narendra Modi is getting some support from the famous Tollywood celebrities as well. He has met superstars such as Rajinikanth as well.

Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Juhi Chawla, Kirron Kher, Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini, and Amitabh Bachchan to name a few have spoken good words about Narendra Modi. While some celebrities like Shatrughan Sinha, Kirron Kher and Hema Malini are already members of BJP, they are contesting from different regions as well. Salman Khan

Salman Khan welcomed a lot of buzz and controversy when he flew kite with the BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at kite flying festival in Ahmedabad. Salman even had lunch with the Hindu nationalist Narendra Modi and said, "I have been impressed by the development in Gujarat. Seeing everyone happy and content gives me immense pleasure. The best man for the country should be the PM, good man (Narendra Modi) is standing next to me."

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh who is the brand ambassador of Gujarat Tourism has also been seen as a Bollywood celebrity who is supporting Narendra Modi. When asked about how he feels Modi has secular credentials, Big B replied, "Is there some kind of a constitutional law that says that somebody has some political belief and therefore you can't be friends with him? Everybody has the freedom to be friends with anyone. You are talking about my role in promoting Gujarat, which is part of my country. Modi is a constitutionally elected chief minister of a state. Deny him that, and then talk to me."

Akshay Kumar

Akshay has met Narendra Modi twice and was full of compliments and best wishes for him. Akshay said, "I have met Narendra Modi twice. He is a great person and a great human being. People of Gujarat are very lucky to have a leader like him."

Vivek Oberoi

Vivek Oberoi has once said, "What I am seeing is that the entire team of BJP, be it volunteers or common people or the leaders have got so energised by Narendra Modi ji that if he becomes our Prime Minister and the dream of lakhs of people come true, you can imagine how much energy will be filled within our country."

Lata Mangeshkar

The legendary singer is another Bollywood celebrity who is supporting Narendra Modi. Lata Mangeshkar said, "I wish Narendra Modi should become the PM."

Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn is one of the Bollywood celebrities who is really impressed by the hard work of Narendra Modi. He said, "When I was asked if I would like to host the Google hangout with Narendra Modi, I instantly grabbed the opportunity because I had heard a lot about him. I had heard people talk about his leadership abilities, about the reforms he has introduced from education to infrastructure; industries get red carpet welcome in Gujarat; he is people's leader. I got an opportunity to meet him when I started a solar power project in Gujarat. Whatever I had heard about him until then tuned out to be true."

John Abraham

John Abraham once speaking to a daily said, "If the opposition comes to power, Narendra Modi is really able. I believe he is not the Chief Minister of Gujarat but the CEO of the state."

Juhi Chawla

Juhi Chawla spoke to a daily and said, "I think Narendra Modi has done good work in Gujarat. Our country needs leaders like Narendra bhai, a leader who has vision, discipline and direction."
