Sajid
Khan
is
one
of
the
Bollywood
directors
who
is
bold
and
doesn't
mind
experimenting
on
silver
screen.
The
director
has
given
hit
movies
like
Heyy
Babyy
and
Housefull
series.
It
is
time
for
his
next
release,
Humshakals.
After
his
hit
movies,
Sajid
never
turned
back
and
believed
that
he
is
a
good
director.
However,
after
the
debacle
of
Himmatwala,
Sajid
realised
that
he
must
return
back
to
his
comedy
genre.
However,
Sajid
worked
hard
and
is
back
with
his
next
comedy
release,
Humshakals
which
has
his
lucky
mascot
Riteish
Deshmukh,
and
friend,
Ram
Kapoor.
We
will
also
get
to
see
Saif
Ali
Khan
in
the
movie.
All
the
three
lead
actors
are
playing
triple
roles
and
Sajid
promises
that
the
movie
is
9
times
more
fun.
Humshakals
trailer
received
mixed
response
and
we
hope
Sajid
Khan
comes
back
with
a
bang
on
silver
screen.
Here
is
our
exclusive
interview
with
Humshakals
director,
Sajid
Khan.
After
Himmatwala
flopped
miserably,
you
accepted
in
front
of
media
that
it
was
your
arrogance.
When
did
you
realise
this?
The
debacle
of
Himmatwala
somewhere
benefited
my
personal
life
because
I
am
the
same
man
who
got
so
many
fans,
lovers
and
then
suddenly
was
ignored.
One
of
the
reasons
behind
this
is,
I
was
not
earning
respect
but
snatching
it.
I
was
saying
people
that
I
have
given
hit
films
so
respect
me.
When
the
movie
released,
people
gave
stars
to
me
and
not
the
film,
some
gave
0,
some
1
and
a
few
gave
½
stars.
This
was
the
time
when
I
realised
that
I
had
done
a
blunder.
Since
then
I
started
writing
Humshakals.
I
started
with
double
roles,
then
triple
role
of
2
individuals
and
then
finally
ended
up
with
3
individuals
playing
triple
roles
which
is
still
not
done
in
the
industry.
It
was
rumoured
that
Humshakals
is
a
copy
of
1982's
film,
Angoor.
I
knew
that
this
news
will
come
up
in
the
media,
but
it
is
not
true.
Whenever
a
movie
is
based
on
double
role,
the
stars
are
basically
playing
sibling
based
roles.
However,
Humshakals
is
nothing
like
that
and
the
movie
is
focused
on
look-alike.
It
is
said
that
the
success
of
Humshakals
can
make
you
arrogant
again.
What
do
you
think?
What
do
you
think?
I
can
confidently
tell
that
it
won't
happen
again.
Since
beginning
I
knew
that
my
greatest
strength
is
my
job
and
my
ability.
But
I
did
not
know
my
weaknesses.
My
anger,
my
ego
was
the
weakest
part.
But
not
anymore.
Earlier
if
the
media
covered
negative
things
about
me,
i
used
to
feel
that
they
have
disrespected
me
and
i
should
disrespect
them
now.
I
started
feeling
that
I
am
the
best
and
did
not
see
anyone
who
could
compete
with
me.
If
Himmatwala
would
have
been
a
hit,
I
could
have
gone
mad,
and
not
sit
here.
Ram
Kapoor
says
that
when
you
met
him
after
Himmatwala
and
offered
Humshakals,
he
was
really
happy
to
get
his
old
friend
back.
I
remember
it
was
31st
December
when
I
met
Ram
and
he
asked
me
for
a
scene
in
my
movie.
That
time
I
asked
him
to
call
me.
When
we
met
next
and
spent
a
lot
of
time
together,
eh
was
really
happy.
So
will
you
try
your
hands
on
other
genres
as
well?
I
don't
want
to
restrict
to
comedy
films
only,
but
my
audience
wants
me
to
work
in
this
genre.
I
feel
Himmatwala
flopped
as
audience
expected
it
to
be
a
comedy
but
it
was
not.
Now
I
will
only
make
comedy
films
and
won't
upset
my
audience.
I
think
I
should
not
take
so
much
burden
and
give
audience
what
movie
they
want.
When
Himmatwala
flopped,
people
spoke
really
negative
about
you.
Now
if
Humshakals
flop,
how
would
you
feel?
I
have
not
done
a
sin,
but
just
made
a
flop
film.
People
blamed
me
because
I
was
at
fault.
But
I
am
sure,
if
Humshakals
flop,
then
people
will
not
feel
good.
In
fact,
they
will
feel
bad
for
me.
Why
didn't
Himmatwala
work?
I
have
always
thought
to
make
hit
films,
but
never
think
on
making
good
films.
But
this
time
I
made
a
good
film.
I
thought
to
keep
box
office
aside
and
make
a
good
film.
My
mother
did
not
like
Himmatwala
at
all.
After
watching
the
movie,
my
mom
said
that
what
have
you
made
Sajid.
This
is
not
your
type
of
movie.
To
this
I
said
mummy
that
you
do
not
know,
this
movie
will
make
100
crore.
What
does
your
mom
feel
about
Humshakals?
After
finishing
the
script,
I
gave
it
to
my
mom
and
she
read
it
whole
night.
Next
morning
my
mom
said
wish
Humshakals
was
my
first
movie
and
not
Heyy
Babyy.
I
can't
believe
that
my
son
has
come
out
from
television
and
made
this
film.
My
mom
said
this
a
really
good
movie.
Is
your
relationship
with
Ajay
the
same
after
Himmatwala
flopped?
Yes,
our
friendship
is
the
same
and
I
often
talk
to
him
as
well.
He
is
one
of
my
really
close
friends.
The
box
office
of
a
film
is
not
that
important
as
the
bond
that
develops
when
you
work
with
your
stars.
Relationships
come
to
an
end
but
what
matters
is
the
good
times
that
you
have
spent
together.
What
was
the
reason
behind
casting
Saif?
About
1
or
1
½
years
back,
Saif
called
me
asked
to
write
a
script
for
him.
So,
I
read
the
script
to
Saif
and
he
immediately
said
Yes.
Does
Ajay
also
feel
that
making
Himmatwala
was
a
mistake?
When
a
movie
becomes
hit,
the
director
and
actor
benefits.
Same
way,
when
a
movie
flops,
both
director
and
actor
suffers.
So
its
obvious
that
making
Himmatwala
was
a
big
mistake.
When
are
you
planning
to
tie
the
knot?
No
clue,
people
are
tired
of
telling
me.
Its
you
who
decides
whom
you
want
to
spend
the
rest
of
your
life
with.
I
think
I
am
responsible
for
my
failed
relationships
as
I
have
always
kept
them
private
and
not
spoken
anything
about
it.
Your
movies
have
comedy
but
not
sex-comedy.
Any
specific
reason
behind
it?
I
made
my
Bollywood
debut
with
Heyy
Babyy
because
I
am
very
close
to
babies
and
just
love
them.
Even
Farah's
kids
are
really
close
to
me.
May
be
this
is
the
reason
why
I
don't
bring
vulgarity
on-screen,
and
I
am
really
happy
about
it.
I
feel
I
will
make
a
good
father!
