Shuddhi movie has long been hogging the headlines, Karan Johar's dream project has time and again been in the news over who is going to be cast in it. But thanks to Salman Khan, Shuddhi is finally going to happen soon.

It all started with HrithikRoshan and Kareena Kapoor being cast in the lead roles and Hrithik owing to his illness and other projects, decided to back out and Kareena too lost out on a lot of good projects waiting for Hrithik to give dates. So when Hrithik backed out even Kareena backed out and got busy with Singham Returns.

Reports started to do the rounds that Shuddhi was shelved, so much so that Karan Johar had to tweet that the project is very much on and that the movie will release in December of 2015. Reports even suggested that Salman Khan was being approached for the movie, but neither Karan nor Salman spoke anything about the matter.

Until recently when Salman Khan in one of the press conferences held for Kick happened to blurt out that he is acting in Shuddhi which made even Karan Johar to official announce that Salman Khan is finalized for the movie. But as of now nothing has been revealed about the lead actress, so a number of people are left wondering who will be cast opposite Salman in Karan's dream project Shuddhi.
