Looks like Sonakshi Sinha had a blast on her birthday. The curvy actress tweeted, "Cannot express in 140 chars how thankful i am to each and every one of u! Reading all the lovely wishes made my day even more special".

The actress was actually working on her birthday, she even cutely remarked as to how producer Vipul Shah has not given an off on her birthday. The actress has always worked on her birthday, while last year she was shooting, this time she is busy promoting her movie Holiday that stars Akshay Kumar in the lead. In fact the entire crew got together and celebrated her birthday. She reportedly cut 12 cakes yesterday.

The actress even told a leading daily on how her parents are the first ones to wish her. She said, "They usually call me up a few minutes before midnight, because if they call me any later, my phone is mostly busy. My father is very finicky about being the first one to wish me on the day. So before I speak to him on that day, I don't take any calls."

While the media only spotted actors Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Vikramaditya Motwane at Sonakshi Sinha's birthday bash at a Bandra on Sunday night, the buzz is that the actress' good friend Shahid Kapoor picked up the birthday girl from the venue of the party and the two went for a long drive. A source revealed, "Shahid was running late and couldn't meet her while she partied in Bandra with her other friends. However, once the do was wrapped up, Shahid arrived and the two spent quite a substantial amount of time together."
