Humshakals is showing in the theatres and the verdict is out. The movie is nine times the dull, well that's how are in-house reviewer has quoted it. Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor are all seen in triple roles in this movie. But they are not the first to do a triple role like this.

Much before these actors could even think of doing such a thing, Amitabh Bachchan had started this triple role trend in his movie Mahaan. By the time he did this movie he already had a bunch of double roles movies to his credit like the Don, The Great Gambler, Desh Premi and so on. Our superstar Rajinikanth has also done triple roles. Ashok (Saif Ali Khan) and Kumar (Riteish Deshmukh) are best friends and both are unaware of their lookalikes Ashok (Saif Ali Khan) and Kumar (Riteish Deshmukh), who are also best friends and are unaware of their lookalikes Ashok (Saif Ali Khan) and Kumar (Riteish Deshmukh), who again are best friends. And then there is Mamaji (Ram Kapoor) who is a lookalike of another Mamaji (Ram Kapoor) who in turn is a lookalike of another Mamaji (Ram Kapoor).

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan was the first actor who did a triple role in Bollywood. The movie was Mahaan where Amitabh Bachchan essayed the role of Amit, a lawyer on the run and he also plyed the role of Amit's two sons who were twins.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik was first seen in the role of a young mentally challenged boy Rohit, then the Rohit's older version. In Krrish he is also seen playing the role of Rohit's son Krishna who is a superhero called Krrish too.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is the only actress who has essayed such multiple roles. First she played twelve roles in What's Your Rashee and then she also essayed seven different get ups in Saat Khoon Maaf.

Rajnikanth

The superstar cannot stay far behind, can he. The actor was see in the role of Kochadiyaan and his twin sons role as well. He is said to be doing a triple role in yet another project titled Rana.
