The movie has become the most anticipated movie of the year, and with the amount of hard work the team is putting, we must say this movie is going to be one sure shot hit!
Bang Bang is the official remake of Hollywood flick Knight and Day which had Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in the lead. The movie was a blockbuster and extremely entertaining with both the actors giving stellar performances, for their desi version Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif have been chosen and they couldn't have been more perfect.
While Hrithik is stepping into Tom Cruise's role, Katrina will be essaying Diaz's role where she played June Havens, a classic car restorer who unwittingly gets caught up with the eccentric secret agent Roy Miller, played by Cruise, who is on the run from the Secret Service.
Bang Bang is already making the headlines, with it's never seen before stunts to the usage of latest technologies. It is also the first Bollywood film to be produced in Abu Dhabi. All in all, director Sidharth has planned to match the desi version to its English counterpart. There are a number of never seen before or never tried before things in Bang Bang, yes the film is doing so many things that has never been done in Bollywood and according to sources the action scenes of Bang Bang are way more astounding than Salman's stunts in Kick. Well here are top 10 things that we have to watch out for in Bang Bang.
Hrithik and Bipasha
This is the first time Bipasha and Hrithik will be seen romancing each other on-screen. All though they have acted together in the past in Dhoom 2, they have never in their entire career cast opposite to each other. This will be another hot chemistry to look out for.
Knight and Day Remake
Considering how awesome Knight and Day movie was, with both Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz giving stellar performances, this movie will be worth the watch for the sheer story line. Bang Bang is the first Bollywood film to be produced in Abu Dhabi.
Biggest Action Scene Ever
Bang Bang is slated to feature some seriously jaw dropping action sequences . Both Hrithik Roshan and director Siddharth Anand have taken things to another level for a particular chase sequence in Abu Dhabi. This particular chase sequence involving Hrithik Roshan driving a car had...HOLD YOUR BREATH...more than 120 cars in it. Worth a watch, ain't it? In Phuket, Hrithik performed a stunt where he had to put a jet on his feet and go 30 feet high in the sky and then dive down in the water.
Hrithik Has Performed Stunts
Oh! Yes, Hrithik himself as performed all stunts on his own. Even though there was a body double on the set the entire time, Hrithik chose to do his own stunts. A Source told, "Hrithik has always done his own stunts and he does not like body doubles. All the stunts are designed in a unique way making it interesting for Hrithik to do it on his own." Apart from Hrithik doing his own action sequences, the stunts are designed by Andy Armstrong who has also worked in The Amazing Spider man 2.
Katrina Kaif's last action film was Ek Tha Tiger, in which we saw her perform some high octane stunts. So going by her performance in the movie, there is a high level of anticipation on Katrina's stunt sequences in this movie.
The Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer Bang Bang may still be three months away from release, but its first half is entirely ready. The team has used a live editing technology, after each scene was filmed, which in turn has given them more time to work on the special effects. Director Siddharth Anand has shot multiple sequences of action scenes, which need a lot of VFX work. The faster the footage was edited, the more time the team had to work on VFX.
The movie has breathtaking action sequences whose VFX is being done at the Fox Studios in Los Angeles. The best VFX guys who have worked on the biggest Fox Films are going to work on this.
His previous movies were Salaam Namaste (2005), Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007), Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), Anjaana Anjaani (2010) which were all pretty decent movies. This is the first time he is directing an action film, Bang Bang. But Sidharth has taken the movie to a whole new level by getting everything done according to International standards.
Hrithik's Comeback Movie
Hrithik has been through a lot in the past few months. First it was his brain surgery then it was his divorce from his childhood sweetheart. His last release was Krissh 3 on 2nd Oct 2013 and this movie is releasing on 2nd Oct 2014, an entire year's gap.
