Bollywood celebrities, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita inaugurated Jio Garden in Mumbai on 27th May.
The grand event was attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, John Abraham, Rajkumar Hirani, Anupama Chopra, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Prasoon Joshi, cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan and many more.
The Reliance industries also awarded the Reliance Foundation Young Champs (RFYC) scholarships to 24 talented footballers between the age of 11 and 14 years.
For the 'Best Grassroots Programme', the ISL gave away a cash award of ₹1.25 crore to Mumbai City FC team owner Ranbir Kapoor.
If on one side Ranbir was disappointed with his last movie, Bombay Velvet being a big flop, he was gung-ho about yesterday's award which will help him and his team.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is on cloud nine as his film, Piku also starring Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan continues to do well at the Indian Box Office.
