Talking about her superstar sister Deepika Padukone, Anisha once told to TOI, ‘' She is more of a motherly figure to me. She is very caring and protective.''

‘'We don't get to meet each other much, but when we do, we have a good time together. We share a simple sisterly bond just like any other set of siblings.'' Anisha Padukone added.

Anisha also revealed that Deepika calls her every time after the release of her movie, ‘'After every movie, she calls me up and wants to know what I and the family think. And I am a harsh critic. So, when I don't like her performance, I tell her right away. ‘'
