Cannes 2015: Richa Chadda Goes Traditional, Receives Standing Ovation
Richa Chadda is part of Cannes 2015 people! It is a proud matter for our country as the actress is showcased the trailer of her upcoming movie, Masaan there.
And guess what the reaction of the people was, after they watched the trailer of the movie? The audience gave the team a standing ovation. Richa had last attended the festival for Anurag Kashyap's Gangs Of Wasseypur was back to attend the festival for Masaan, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan.
"The last time I went to Cannes, I had no experience of being in the limelight. Now, I am more confident and grown up. I feel fortunate that so many amazing designers have shown interest in dressing me up. I want to showcase the best of the east in the west," Richa said.
Neeraj's film was selected for screening in the Incertain Regard category of the festival and it was among the two Indian films that is being screened at the gala this year.
All in all, Richa Chadda not only looked super hot in the saree she opted to wear for the screening but she was super happy over the reaction she received as well, playing the lead role in this movie definitely had its perks.
