The ever so cheerful Ranveer Singh got discharged from the Mumbai hospital on Sunday after his surgery. He walked out of hospital with full of smiles and energy.

Ranveer Singh also posed for the paparazzi outside the hospital. The actor obliged with his fans for selfies and kisses. He flexed his muscles and showed off his biceps while leaving the hospital.

He was full of energy after the surgery and his indomitable energy is an inspiration to many. The actor tweeted live form the operation theater on Saturday which showed his soaring spirits. He also posted a pic of himself on the table just minutes before his operation.

Ranveer Singh had injured himself while shooting for a war sequence for the film Bajirao Mastani directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The actor plays the role of 18th century Maratha warrior.

He has transformed himself physically and mentally a lot for this film. Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will also be seen in this film.

Ranveer was seen wearing a sling for over a month and even underwent physiotherapy. He finally opted for surgery when recovery didn't happen.

He took it to his Twitter after he reached home and posted, "Surgery went well...Back home now & all set for the Rehab phase...Thank u all for ur love n concern!
