Shamitabh movie, one of the most anticipated movies releasing this year is all set to release on February 6th. With the worldwide release date closing in, the cast of the movie has started the promotional work for the film.

Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan visit the 'City Of Gold', Dubai. The cast of the film, Shamitabh were in Dubai to promote their film which is releasing this week.

Javed Shafi, acknowledged the cast and felicitated each member of the film on the stage. The actors too spoke about the film and revealed how it is a never seen before story.

From the looks of the trailer, the plot is definitely intriguing and senior Bachchan stands by this new concept. Talking about the film, he revealed how he is impressed by Dhanush's dedication to his craft, "We dubbed three times for this film, whose plot is the first of its kind in Hindi cinema."

He further explained how Dhanush managed to take on his voice without losing the sight of his own character in the movie, "It was important to match facial expressions to dialogue."

The plot of Shamitabh revolves around a wannabe star who becomes famous by imitating Amitabh Bachchan's legendary voice. This is Dhanush's second Hindi film with Ranjhanaa being the first. When he was asked, if his Hindi speaking skills had improved, the actor broke into a laugh and said, "It's much better than it used to be."

Speaking about his experience in the film, "I used to have to memorise all the dialogues!"
