Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Badlapur features Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Yami Gautam, Divya Dutta and Huma Qureshi in lead roles.
To talk a little about the movie Badlapur, Varun Dhawan plays the role of an ad executive and Yami Gautam will be seen as his wife. The couple also has a child and they lead a happily married life. Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the main antagonist while, Divya Dutta and Huma Qureshi also have pivotal roles.
However, Varun Dhawan then clearly said that his look in Badlapur is not at all inspired from Shahid Kapoor's Haider. Varun Dhawan then stated that he plays the role of a Maharashtrian while, Shahid Kapoor played a Kashmiri.
