Today, Bollywood movies are known for its high-voltage entertainment quotient. Having said this, serious, thought-provoking real-life-subject movies too, have been an evergreen trend in this film industry and is also well-taken by the movie buffs.
About a national leader, sports personality, an iconic event in the Indian history, a current real life character, a murder mystery... the list may never end for the directors of Bollywood to get inspiration.
Whatever critical acclaim such movies receive, one should applaud the director's effort on these projects. Right from costuming to building huge sets to scripting and screening, the crew work their hearts out to bring alive the close-to-reality scenarios, on screen.
Apart from all the background work that goes into making such movies, actors too have to work equally hard in understanding the seriousness of the role they are playing and also to work their bodies out to get the desired look.Mary Kom, Bhaag Milka Bhaag are some examples to show, to what extent our actors have gone, to portray real-life characters.
There are many movies that are based on true stories till date.
