In an interview to Filmfare, Shraddha Kapoor had revealed that initial failures did affect her, "Before Teen Patti released, I auditioned for a really important film. I was dying to get it. After that Shraddha Kapoor got a lot of offers from the South, even for an erotic thriller but the actress politely refused it as she just wanted to focus on Bollywood, A well-known dircetor called Shraddha and asked, 'I've seen your first film Shraddha. Would you be interested in being part of an erotic thriller?I didn't know how to refuse him and rather coyly told him. 'I'm not going into that territory for now'."

And her hardwork and patience paid off when she became a successful star overnight when Aashiqui 2 released. Now, Shraddha has many films in her kitty like Rock On 2 with Farhan Khan, Baaghi with Tiger Shroff and Ok Jaanu with Aditya Roy Kapur.
