In an interview to Vogue, Gauri said, ''My relationship with fashion is very simple - it has to attract me and if I like something I never think twice. But I always have to be comfortable.''

Gauri Khan further added, "Maybe earlier I could wear really fitted clothes and not care about comfort but now I need things that I can slip into".

"If Shahrukh had his way he would only have me wear a white shirt and jeans - that's the look he loves. My shopping is really spur-of-the-moment - I never go looking for anything. I just always happen to find something I want!"

Gauri Khan and Shahrukh Khan met in Delhi when he was not famous. It was not easy for them to convince Gauri's parents for marriage because of Shahrukh's different religion. Finally, the two tied the knot on October 25th 1991.

After their marriage, Shahrukh Khan and Gauri moved to Mumbai as Shahrukh wanted to try his luck in Bollywood.

Talking about Shahrukh, Gauri told a magazine, ''I don't think I get overshadowed by my husband or his personality. I have a stronger personality than Shahrukh. He is an entity on his own and I don't consider him a superstar when I'm with him in the house. He's just my husband and I respect him as that.''
