Varanasi
(UNI):
Unable
to
share
silver
screen
space
with
the
Rangeela
girl,
Bhojpuri
cinema
superstar
manoj
tiwari
has
bought
a
swanky
car,
once
owned
by
Bollywood
beauty
Urmila
Matondkar.
Mr
Tiwari
admitted
to
being
a
die-hard
fan
of
Urmila.
''Main
Urmilaji
ka
diwana
hoon
aur
hamesha
se
unke
saath
kisi
film
mein
kaam
karne
ke
sapne
dekhta
aya
hoon,''
said
the
singer-actor,
often
called
as
Big
B
of
Bhojpuri
cinema.
''After
realising
it
would
be
near
impossible
to
work
with
Urmila
in
any
Bhojpuri
flick,
I
was
looking
for
an
opportunity
to
somehow
share
any
of
her
possessions,''
he
said.
Two
months
ago,
I
learnt
from
one
of
the
producer
of
my
films,
Vinod
Bachchan,
that
Urmila
was
eager
to
sell
her
black
Sonata
Gold
car.
I
quickly
grabbed
the
opportunity
and
bought
it,
Manoj
said.
He
reportedly
paid
Rs
five
lakh
to
own
the
swanky
vehicle.
Presently
shooting
three
films
in
Varanasi
--
Purab,
Balma
420
and
Munna
Pandey
Berozgar
--
Manoj
said
the
aspiration
of
getting
associated
with
his
'dream
girl'
had
been
actualised
to
some
extent.
The
actor,
who
has
represented
Banaras
Hindu
University
(BHU)
cricket
team,
besides
serving
as
the
vice-chairman
of
Laloo
Yadav-
governed
Bihar
Cricket
Association,
however,
has
kept
the
black
beauty
for
use
in
Mumbai
only.
''When
I
am
shooting
in
Mumbai,
Pune
and
adjoining
areas,
I
prefer
to
use
the
car,
which
the
public
fondly
remembers
as
Urmila's
car,''
conceded
the
star,
still
harbouring
unfulfilled
dream
of
playing
Munna's
character
to
Urmila
in
any
future
Bhojpuri
version
of
Rangeela.
