A rickshaw driver in Mumbai has produced a movie with the help of 150 of his peers. Waqar Khan's native place is Shajahanpur in Uttar Pradesh. He was interested in cinema right from his childhood. So he left his home and came to Mumbai. Banks denied him a loan to produce a movie.
So he got financial help from his fellow auto drivers. He got 60 lakhs from them. It is just about a sufficient sum to produce a film on a very slim budget. But he did make the movie, facing heavy odds, and released it. The movie is titled as Ishq Na Karna (Don't fall in love). Waqar pairs with a new actress Urvashi Choudhary. This movie is released in most of the cities in North India. In Uttar Pradesh, it has become a box-office hit!
