The 'big grand Bollywood wedding' is round the corner, and everybody is speculating as to who would and who wouldn't be invited to the Abhi-Ash wedding.
The latest news we hear is that Amitabh's brother Ajitabh had gone to Delhi and personally handed over the invitation card to Priyanka Vadra, Sonia's daughter. Sonia, for some reason was unavailable. Now, this is very interesting as the Bachchan and the Gandhi family is not quite in good terms. Though it was Big B and wife Jaya who stood by Rajiv and wife Sonia Gandhi during their wedding, the two families slowly grew apart, due to misunderstandings and disagreements. It is learnt that Amitabh Bachchan's ailing mother Teji Bachchan, is very fond of the Gandhi family, and would want them to be present at the wedding of her grandson.
Salman Khan: Salman Khan, who was once going steady with the to-be-Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Rai is said to have caused a lot of physical and emotional damage to the actress. In fact, it was Big B who finally helped Ash come out of this relationship. The guy sure will not be invited by the Bachchan or the Rai family.
Vivek Oberoi: Aishwarya's former flame, Vivek was head over heels in love with the actress. However, when Vivek's career was not doing too good, Ash dropped him like a 'hot potato'. It is unlikely that the actor will be invited for the wedding.
Karisma Kapoor: Formerly engaged to wed Abhishek Bachchan, Karisma Kapoor suddenly changed her mind, and decided to break off the engagement with Abhishek, only to marry industrialist Sunjay Kapur. The Bachchans' have maintained a dignified silence in regards to the break-up. The lady will surely not be in the 'invitee' list.
Shah Rukh Khan: SRK, who claims he respects Big B a great deal is not very liked by the Bachcahn family, especially after he took the KBC project from right under Amitabh's nose. The actor has also made some unpleasant remarks about the veteran, which has certainly not gone too well with the family. Though one can't say for sure, Shah Rukh Khan 'might' not be invited to the marriage.
