Neha Dhupia faced a tough time while shooting for Sanjay Khanduri's Ek Chalis Ki Last Local.
A crowd that had gathered to watch her shoot with co-star Abhay Deol pelted them with stones when the actors refused to oblige them with autographs!
Says the actress, "It was bizarre! I've never been in a situation like this before. Abhay and I were shooting for a sequence of Ek Chalis Ki Last Local at Bhayander station and had almost packed up for the day.
A huge crowd of over 1,000 people gathered and stood around quietly while we were shooting. It was only when we packed up that things went out of hand."
As they were leaving, the crowd started asking the stars for autographs and to pose for pictures with them.
"We thought smiling and waving at them would do the trick, but they wanted handshakes. Seeing that the crowd was getting restless, we decided it was best not to do anything and ran to our vanity vans.
Suddenly the mood turned ugly and the crowd got agitated. Before we knew it, they started pelting stones at us. Fortunately, I had reached my car and Abhay had reached his van so we didn't get hurt," says Neha.
However, Neha is smart enough to put this unruly experience behind her. She'd rather talk about another unusual experience in Switzerland. "I recently attended the watch fair in Basel as the brand ambassador of Police Watches.
Hotel heiress Paris Hilton and actor Antonio Banderas also attended the event, but I couldn't meet them as they came on separate days. Instead, I got to see one of the most expensive watches in the world by Ulysse Nardin. It's supposed to cost 3.5 crore!
When I asked someone why is it so expensive, the answer made me laugh! Apparently, it's expensive because a replica of Ghengis Khan's sword acts as a hand on the watch!" Neha grins.
Mahimas man, Bobby!
